Tonight was such a blessing. I was able to start my day working from
home at 7am and wrap by 4pm (working through lunch at my desk). At a bit
after 2pm Tee-tee Angie welcomed Maddi’s two littles, Tucker (a few
weeks away from age 2) and Caroline (not yet a couple months old), in
for the rest of the day. I popped down briefly to say howdie and then
finished out my work.
I’m ‘Pop-pop’ to my granddaughter Topanga. That’s Mimi (Angie) in the background, busy baking in the kitchen for our late family Christmas dinner this evening.
Angela and I visited the entrance gate of Wool Hollow cave. This was my first “wild cave” that I visited with the Mother Lode Grotto in 2021.
Angela and I went walking near the rock quarry along Camp 9 Road on our 17th anniversary weekend away.
Angela and I spent much of the afternoon of Christmas Eve eve walking around the old historic downtown of Sonora, California, on our 17th anniversary weekend away. We ducked into the City Hotel to snap this picture in front of their gigantic Christmas Tree.
Angie’s nickname instead of grandma is “Mimi”. Today Mimi was asked to
watch our granddaughter. Our son had the day off and it sounds like he
was exhausted and needed some sleep, which our granddaughter isn’t
allowing much.
“Mimi” (Angie) and our Granddaughter.
“Tee-tee” (Angie) is great-great auntie to Tucker. The three of us went out to Texas Roadhouse to celebrate a Angie’s birthday.
