Dan Kaminski found one design flaw with the majority of DNS servers as well as exactly how to exploit it in a repeatable fashion. There are many other problems with DNS attacks that would be solved with DNSSEC.

Capturing Radio

One cool feature of many TV capture cards is the ability to hook up an FM antenna and listen to the radio. There is plenty of support for listening to live radio. But as for capturing the radio, there isn't much support. However, as with anything, if there is a will, there is a way. This isn't really anything new, if you compare it to using a cassette tape player to record the radio. What is novel is the ability to gather and store radio like a DVR (or in my case, on my DVR) - all nice and scheduled and automated.

Secure email and files

There are plenty of legitimate reasons to use encryption for emails. Some reasons for using encryption is with overseas communications to relatives or business partners, or even local communication but of a highly sensitive or confidential nature, such as network configuration files, Visio network diagrams, system passwords, etc. Perhaps you want to email your paystub PDF from your work email to your personal email, that'd be the perfect candidate for encryption.

Calling All Artistic Folks - Logo Design Voting

Some months ago I was blessed to meet a retired gentleman at church who helped another friend at church come up with some artwork for his business. He's come up with a number of logo ideas. I am not an artist and while I can tell what I don't like, I'm not sure how to get at what I think needs to be done to improve or fix what is wrong.

I'd like to hear from everyone as to their top 3 picks and suggestions for improvements for the Roysdon Networks logo. Please note that these are pencil sketches with some sample colors. Once I've decided what logo to go with, I'll have a professional graphics artist create it.
